PRA Team

Don specializes in all lines of insurance for physicians and healthcare related risks with over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. His history in the field includes a number of years with a large regional captive brokerage that represented a physician professional liability insurance company. While there, his primary focus was the development and delivery of additional insurance products to their new and existing clients.

He began his insurance career with Safeco Insurance Company holding various positions in their commercial lines underwriting and marketing departments. He is a graduate of California State University Northridge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and holds an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.

Debbie’s insurance experience of over 35 years includes many years in the healthcare field specializing in medical malpractice liability coverage and commercial and personal lines of insurance. She enjoys working with clients in managing and servicing their accounts. She’s an excellent resource given her vast knowledge of and experience in insurance.

Shannon has over 25 years of experience as a commercial Account Manager in the independent insurance agency field. She has successfully assisted clients in the placement and management of insurance accounts while maintaining excellent customer and company relationships.

Julie comes to us with over 8 years of experience in the insurance industry. She has worked with a broad spectrum of commercial insurance clients during her career.  She works closely with the insurance companies and our clients to develop and maintain successful client business relationships.

She is a graduate of California State University of Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Finance concentration, and she holds a Property & Casualty Brokers License since 2003.

Her experience in the healthcare field assists our clients in securing the proper coverage for their insurance needs. Prior to joining our firm, she was responsible for the employee benefit plan administration and workers compensation insurance for a medical center. Linda is a graduate of Cal State University Northridge with a degree in Health Administration.

Michael has been part of the PRA Team in a full-time capacity for 3 years and previously work part time while he completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Advertising from California State University Fullerton. Michael is responsible for the placement of individual and group benefits for PRA clients. Assisting our clients in order to help them assess the appropriate benefits program including the implementation process is a main focus of his responsibilities. He is also responsible for the management of our online benefits management system which eases the administrative burden of our clients’ staff members

Michael holds an Accident & Health Agent license.

Janet joins the PRA Team with a background as a Rehabilitation Consultant assisting injured workers in returning to work. This included assessing the job performed and making recommendations to the employer and insurance company. Janet works closely with our clients supporting the placement of health insurance and assisting the account managers to ensure policies are issued correctly and in a timely fashion.

She previously worked for the Anaheim Angels as the Assistant to the Director of Scouting and as a team interpreter communicating with Latin American players and staff members.

She is a graduate of UC San Diego with a degree in Communication.
